Was able to request this band in black leather instead. It's absolutely beautiful! Both leather & hardware are stunning (note that in the gold color, connectors are matte but studs & buckle are shiny - doesn't bother me, and still beautiful, just be aware.) Leather is soft against the skin & band is comfortable enough to sleep in. Be sure to measure both where & how you plan to wear it - if I'd wanted a snug fit, I would've needed to pull the tape tight when measuring & probably go down 1/2" in size, or I'd need to use the 2nd tightest hole & have a lot of "tail" in the bigger size. However I like a relaxed fit that moves easily & that's exactly what I have! Quality of the band is definitely gift-worthy.
